CROCKS

I hate the damn things. We had a tiny amount of rain early this morning. Juuuust enough to make the back stoep slightly wet, exactly what a set of crocks does`nt need. I slipped and had a heluva fall, unfortunately on my right knee. The poor thang is al swollen up, and throbbing like a baby-birds ass. Have to go for X-rays tomorrow, and HOPEFULLY my knee-cap is not broken. The Dr looked worried. So am I. Now laying flat on my back with bandages and ice-packs around my knee to try and control the swelling. My right foot is turning a nice shade of blue. When I get up here, I am going to make a croc bonfire....

Hi boet, i had a very unfortunate incident (on the ground) 7 weeks ago - gebreekte voet, in n stut vir sewe weke - lewende hel.
Brandewyn (baie daarvan) vi di pyn - dis al wat help ! Hoop jy kom gou reg. P.S Al wat ek nou kan dra (skoene gewys) is crocs - kan nog nie ander skoene dra nie, maar ek deel jou sentiment!

Hey Boet,
Sorry to hear this.
Hopefully the X ray will reveal minimum damage and just bruising.
The advice for medicinal brandy is very good. I second that.
Cheers,

Whoa!! Not lekka!!
What people do to get off work!
My dad has crocs and he actually finds that they are more inclined NOT to slip. (He loves to fish so is always clambering over rocks) But my uncle has a pair and he recently put screed floors on his stoep and he fell with in 10 seconds!
Get well soon, uhhhhhhh, uhhhhh BOET!!

Hey Boet,
Agreed.
Why damage an innocent stoep.
Knees and ankles heal by themselves.
If you want sympathy,
then you have come to the wrong place.
Lekker-lekker chatting to you on the phone.
Word assb. gou weer gesond.
Groete
