1 million Z$ has less value than a sheet of single ply toilet paper. Unfortunately the colour comes off and they are very abrasive if used for toilet paper. Has just "bought" 20 million Z$ for gifts to friends & family.

Street rate today USD1 - Z$6 billion.
Interbank mid rate USD1 - Z$4.7 billion.
They want us to make system changes to accomodate interest rates of 3000.00%
Borrow Z$ 100 000 000.00 at 3000.00% for a period of 12 months
Monthly instalment = Z$ 141 674 818.55
Z$ 41 674 818.55 more than the original loan paid in first month
Isn't this just CRAZY!

Apparantly bakkies are going for a song - cheap cheap. If you sign now, and pay next week, you save about a million $$.

They did that in October 2006 ... divided by 1000 ... instantly devalues any stock-holding of goods.
We had to do the revaluation exercise for a leading Bank in Zimbabwe and the value of the book devalued by ZAR3 million between the Friday afternoon and the Monday morning when they revalued.
I think they should just turn off the lights!

So... I wonder if they will try and cancel the run-off election, print new $'s and still try and sell 1800 Cripple s's in Zim?
We need The Sniper over in Zim pronto!

Sorry... my previous post is outdated!
Morgan has called it a day... Rob effing Mugabe is now once again free to roam and ravage!
Our own high and mighty your lordship the honourable Thabo Mbeki is to be the laughing stock of the 1st World Countries after this fiasco!
Is jy 'n man of 'n muis meneer die president?

Collegue came from Harare this weekend. Picked up this note in the street. People there not even interested in this kind of notes.

I don't think we see a half of what is going on there - and that is the problem. The world don't know what is really happening in Zim. You think Morgan
WANTS to quit ?
Only my $ 5 billions's worth.
Note the expiry date.
The irony of the silos - flourishing farming and wildlife on the back.
