1. Guy comes in to land at night. ATC asked him:"Aircraft on final approach, please identify yourself"
So the pilot put off his landinglights and told ATC: " Guess who".
ATC then switched off the landinglights of the whole runway and asked the pilot: " Guess where!"
2. This one happened for real!
This guy just went solo for his PPL. He is in the circuit but is so busy with flying, he NEVER touched his radio.
So in comes the little Cessna on finals, and ATC asks him " The aircraft on final approach, please identify yourself and state your intentions"
He replied, very serious. " I am Piet van der Merwe and my intentions are to get my pilot licence as soon as possible, as I always wanted to be a pilot. "
