Flying with Santa's little helper

OK, So Darkhelmet and I were getting tired of being stereotyped as your typical Trike flyers – Smelling of petrol and 2 stroke oil, drinking our second beer and having our 5th smoke (Darkhelmet that is, I discovered Zyban) by 9 am after our Saturday morning flight. Sound familiar? Of course it does.
Thus, when the opportunity came to do something semi-decent we jumped at the opportunity.
Our mission: There is a young lady in America suffering from leukemia – Her father had a brilliant idea – There is a particular Elf doll she is very fond of – Her father went out and bought 13 of these and they have been shipped all over the world. The idea is then for this Elf to appear in photo’s of a world tour called “The amazing Elf raceâ€Â. Photos have been taken of this Elf all over the world and this weekend Santa’s little helper went flying in the Magalies in a Microlight.
We brought in the expertise of Dieselfan being a seasoned photographer and one of the chapter’s in the “Amazing Elf race†to be given to this girl for Christmas will now be of her Elf flying in a trike. (Tied to the A-frame with a cable-tie – It’s the best we could come up with OK….
)
We wanted a pic of the Elf in my Microlight with Darkhelmet and AXC in the background – Poor DH virtually stalled his airy to slow down enough for the picture to work.
I hope the pics look OK and pray the girl recovers fully to fly in a trike and experience all these places for herself one day.
