Insurance - Disability benefit?

I recently took out a new insurance policy, and found to my surprise that because I do " microlighting" any disability that arises as a consequence of this sport is excluded from monthly income protectors. Short of having an expensive policy that pays out a lump sum in the event of disability, I am told that this cover is not available for microlight pilots. Is this true? Has anyone found an insurer that does this sort of insurance without the microlight exclusion?

I think you must get another broker...Speak to John Boutcher or Rob Mc Fie...

Good advise. Display all your crappy policies and let them re-evaluate and you will probably come out with more inclusive flying insurance for the same price and get rid of those dormant underperforming 'products' of the 80's and 90's.
