Centurion Flight Academy open for business

Good news. I believe Flo from Centurion Flight Academy now enjoys unrestricted access at Eagles Creek to operate the flight school and maintenance service.

So anyone welcome to fly anything in for maintenance, renewals, AP's, LSA ratings, tail dragger endorsements without restriction.

A legal process eliminating the trustee imposing restrictions and unreasonable conditions to hangar owners' rights of access, their clients or visitors and ability to carry out their functions as they see fit.

This can probably be interpreted as anyone free fly in to visit a hangar owner so long as they comply with standard legal requirement including any Special Rules transponder issue, sign indemnity and not be a nuisance to anyone.

So have they changed the class of airspace?

So if the visitors do not have transponders they cannot visit?

Don't know. My interpretation is all who are entitled to fly in that airspace - outside Lanseria ATC, are allowed to land where their license privileges afford them. If no transponder required in that area then it can't be mandatory at a private airfield.

Hip. Flew from Eagles Creek the other day around 14h00 -about 2 miles from an existing microlight strip with no transponder hassles- via Pinedene route. No air traffic heard. Must be afgas issue.

Thought I woke up Waterkloof who just said 'remain 6000ft and report outbound'.
