Sold my trike and bought a Savannah S

Yep I am converted. I sold the topless Aquila (miss you really  ) and bought a new Savannah S from John. My first flight was from East London back to Panorama via the wild coast (landed at Port St Johns and then to Margate. (What a beautiful flight vhpy ) From Margate to Eva's and then we hit a 65 knot head wind. So we had to leave the plane at Eva's and it only got flown up a week later. Thanks so much to James Bentley for putting my plane in his hangar and allowing me to leave it there for a week. (^^)

Last week-en me and the wife had our first cross country and stay over at Kokoriba. The nice best thing is that my wife is now flying more with me. Likes the cabin heat and no wind in the hair type of thing. I miss the open cockpit of the trike, but hey I would much rather fly with my partner. Also like the fact that Panorama to Kokoriba is 55 minutes. ## The Savannah is a beaut to fly.

So here she is. My new love!

You can always fly with the doors off too if you need that wind in the hair and bugs in the teeth feeling. puff. Great aircraft, many happy flights with her.

Willem,

As I am planning on going this route in the near future would it be possible to provide some details on this beauty, ie.

The fact that you took delivery in EL I am Assumuming that you bought her ready to fly and thus would like to know what was your lead time from ordering to delivery
What add on's (nice to have's) did you add from the start, eg. glass, long range tanks, etc.
Is there anything that you would like to have added/not done now that you are flying her, eg. added some extra's or added something you do not need, etc.
Final cost if possible, ie. the exchange rate is killing us.

Thanks and enjoy her which, based on your last reply, is definitely the case..... (^^) (^^) (^^)

Thanks
Deon
