To Asterix, Bugwar, David, Hans, Fanie and Merv....and many others!
Bugwar kindly got me back in the air again after a long lay off and I must admit it was
great to get in the air again especially with such spectacular conditions. I feel re "energised" guys... Thanks!
I really have been grateful for all the encouragement from all of you and it has really helped to keep me and Stef positive on this long road to "recovery". We are making good progress with the rebuild and will start the re assembly within three weeks.
The Cammeraderie in this awesome sport is unlike any other type of flying...

Must agree with bundy. It was really nice to meet all you guys at delmas saturday. It is fantastic to see how we as pilots
always try and lift up fellow mates and pilots. Well done guys..
I myself miss the " springs manne van staal" that i used to fly with. Nice to see the microland manne standing
together. Keep up the good spirit , we need to encourage each other. At last met asterix and geel kerneels. But dont
worry you will really enjoy your cobra. I enjoy my aerotrike cobra very much, and the spirit 15 wing is an excellent wing.
Bundy, recovery seems far but believe me with stunning friends and encouragement we all will fly together soon.

Hey Barry,
Sounds like you had a lekker sortie yesterday. Sunday's at ML are very quiet I must admit. I have been there on perfect mornings and not found anyone around. Afternoons are definately more quiet (even on Saturday's). I guess it's family commitments or something as it appears the other airfields are the same? JAG always deserted
Glad you eventually managed to find some beer drinking buddies though when you got back

Sorry -

But I found a fraying throttle cable after landing on Saturday - need replacement.
