Flying with Tracey

The weather is not that great for trike flying today. Its off-shore, very bumpy and gusting from 15-27kt SW, and quite unstable, with cumulous clouds in excess of 5000' already building over Durban  .

Tracey King (Microflight Africa / Go Fly Magazines), is a seasoned pilot (PG and PPL) and a bit of turbulence did not scare her off! Nor her 11 year old daughter, who also loved her flight.

I took her for a flight today in my trike, and in-between some nasty bumps, she managed to get some great pics which I though I should share with you guys. She seemed to love the bumps as well (must be the paragliding in her blood.. )

This is for all the office pilots who don't have the amazing flying oportunities I have ^

It was great to meet another fabulous flying female, and someone with a similar passion for flying as me. Thanks for flying with me.

Junkie, er... I think you're getting your Traceys and Trixies mixed up... ## For the Afskies 'Happy Snaps' we need your pics in (preferably) tif or j-peg format or pdf, must be high res, 300dpi at 100%, and the subjects need to be aviation-related, have been taken from the air or from a spot which is clearly inaccessible other than by air. You can submit as many pics and enter as often as you wish. Please include all the info re Who, What, Where, Why, How, and With whom, etc. Email to editor@afskies.co.za asap if you want to submit pics for the April/May edition. Late entries will be held over for June/July.
Good luck - looking forward to an avalanche of entries :!: :) :D
