Rotax 2 stroke maintenance course - UPDATE

Postby Duck Rogers » Fri Mar 02, 2012 6:46 pm

I have come to an agreement with Niren at Comet Aviation for him to present a 1 day maintenance/repair workshop on Rotax 2 strokes. The cost is R1 500.00 per person. He requires at least 5 persons to attend.

Not yet able to give you a date at this time (but it will be soon) First need to see if there's any interest.
I am in..........now at least 4 other persons required. Who else is interested?

Hey Duck,

I will also like to go. You can put my name on the list as well. Will obviously also depend on the date of the course???

Everyone, let's support this please!!

Comet have indicated that in the past courses have been cancelled due to "agreeing to attend" but then baling out at the last minute!!

Cool. That makes 7 so far.
I'm still waiting for Comet to reply to my email regarding the date. I'll post it as soon as I know.
Still time to put down your name if you're interested.

I'm very interested too. Would it be possible to get more information on how the course is run? Ie. just presentations, diagrams, etc. or would we get hands-on on one (or more) engines, take things apart and put them back together? I would need to fly up from Cape Town, so my attendace would be subject to availability of cheap airfares and no last minute cancellations.

Thanks!

Cheers,

V.
