DarkHelmet is lurking in the shadows and periodically scanning these here fine forums about once a week at present!

YES - I have the sulks (but that is not the reason for my absence ;) ) Gratz Morpheus for making admin ;) Morph is a stand-up guy and if you asked me who you reckon would fit the title best my first word would have been morph-man!

I also sulk because I spoke to FF a few times the past few weeks and every time it has either been AFTER of BEFORE a most amazing flight.

Given up flying - hell no! Went up yesterday - my stomach is still aching from the hard workout I gave it! Thanks to my friends in CT (and Demon) I now actually pull my aerie out and test the "air". Some tests are okay - others are just downright horrible.

My flying has become a bit more adventurous - I test the air now and don't just judge it by the windsock.

Reading about ZU-FLY being provisionally sold makes my heart burn - she was my "when I am big I will have an aerie like that" aerie!

A recently departed forumite and I discussed briefly a partnership for it ... this brought some sadness and may he rest in peace!

The big W swearword is however the main and only reason for my lurking lately.

Thanks for the concern guys - I am still alive and kicking and around in some way or other!

LOL Big D ;) Knew someone would pick on me about that!

This was just at the WWW point, and FYI - I do 4 P's (Pump on) after I added the electric fuel pump - when flying with Pax I always have it on

Need to get me one of those - Alan changed mine to also include a B - Balistic armed.

For everyone who thinks we are crazy. Darkhelmet and I had the same instructor and after doing a proper pre-flight before getting into the trike your final checks at the holding point are:

3C's - Clips, Caps, Chokes
3P's - Petrol, Pax, Power magneto check
3W's - Wing, wheels, windsock
Instruments check and radio call

Having said this the 3 P's sometimes became 7 with Alan - "Hy hakkel partykeer so bietjie"

Cheers
