Why do you fly

Postby Bennie Vorster » Thu Apr 06, 2006 8:11 am

When I started my training, my instructor's first question was..........WHY, why do you want to fly and I think it took me a while to figure it out, and sometimes I still wonder.

Some times I can't help but to wonder if God did not bring this along my way so I can relies that for every time I am there high up in the sky, how low I am supposed to go down on my knees every day and thank Him for my safety, the privileges I'm enjoying and His awesome and magnificent universe. THANK YOU LORD.

Other times I think it is to enjoy the peace, time out from the every day rush and stress and a little time to sometimes spend with your self and other times share some good laughs with the guys.

 One thing I know is that I'm HOOKED.

What are your reasons :?: :?: :?:

Yip Bennie!! I think this is truly a gift from God!! =D* =D* =D*

I just love being up there, flying gives you that sensation of freedom, open skies. You can see the world from a different perspective. People that don't fly will never experience this feeling.

I was watching the movie that was made of us at Drakensburg this year last night with some friends, and the un-explored beauty that you can only see when you up there is truly awesome!!! :D :D :D

PLEASE GOD, I LOVE FLYING, AND HOPE I STILL HAVE MANY YEARS IN THE SKY LEFT!! -0< -0< -0<

I fly because it's there and I can and it's beautiful and scary and thrilling and a most wonderful way of experiencing God's creation

Amen!
Flying makes it feel more unique as many people may have walked over a particular place whereas few have flown over it. Although steep turns etc are adrenalin pumping the views of God's creation top it. Why are all sunsets so stunning?? God has made a awesome earth and we have to see it all!

Besides it's practice for being an angel?
