Wow,

That's alot of hours...I started flying last year April, now clocking 80 hours...

So I would be flying with a walkin stick and some oxygen coz I'm so old and still not have had 3000hrs...

Were you involved in the counting of the animals, doing flybys making sure they all moving towards the arc

Awesome achievment Demon, hope you see another 3000...perhaps at Secunda you can teach us fresh pilots a thing or three...

Safe :!:

Average burn rate of 15ltr/hour = 45,000 ltrs
1800 x 25 ltr jerry cans
900 ltr of 2 stroke..
(Sorry - used the Julius calculator previously)
...and thats just for starters vhpy

Blikses Barry, that is some good going.

At average 100km/h = 300 000 km
= 6 times around the world
= 15 return trips to Europe
= 100 return trips from Rieties to Cape Town !

Ok here were our calculations:

At 65mph ave thats 195130 miles or 312208 km
at a fuel burn of 17 l/hr thats 51 034 liters
At R10 per liter thats R510 000 (More than a new GT450 or 34 windlass's :) )
At 4500rpm thats 810540000 crankshaft revolutions
At an average flight time of 1h30 thats 2001 flights
At 3 Millers after each flight thats 6003 Millers
Ave of 1h30 of talking shit after each flight thats 3002 hours of talking shit
With 3,5 mates along for each flight thats 21010 Millers consumed whilst listing to Demon talking shit for 3002 hours after 3647430000 crankshaft revolutions.

Now if you had done all of those trips flying an Aquilla, you would have had over 7500 hours!
