There is a special lady Dionnie she spoils you frot, glad to be on the same side as her.....

Thanks to all for the great braai and camaraderie yesterday.

Then the mist / low cloud blocked our trip this morning. To the tower and back was the best some of us could do. Joe and Dawid, thanks for the report on your flight to Delmas and the dam. The cotton wool clouds must have been awesome. Glad you are all back safe and sound.

What an awesome sport and awesome people. Thanks again for all the good times.

Yip...91% humidity, a north wind and 2 degrees difference between Temp and dew point can only result in one thing at ML.

So why when I look out of my window at home does it all look fine? Well.... my house in Newlands is 700ft below FABA in elevation! A cloudbase may look fine there, but take a drive up the hill and there is a big difference.

They dont call it the "White Death" for nothing....

I nearly got caught out by the mist yesterday when I wanted to test the circuit conditions....not a great day for decision making Mr Bundy!

Dumbass of the week....me!

Respect the sky guys...a lucky and valuable lesson for me.
