Hi All,

Well T-23 days and counting...

Thatch, do we have a list of they guys going?

As for the chop en dop...a pannier can carry only so much...will we have ice (^^) (^^) you know for the "cold drink"?

Will we be able to purchase anything at Zebula? (meat, ice etc...never been there before)

The excitement is now starting to build...woooohooooo (!!) vhpy

I think the list looks like this:

Gaylord and Thatch - Riet
Dish and Big D - Aeroden
Air Hog - Kroon
Madman and Hawkeye - Crosswinds
Maddog and Expresso - Heidleberg
Alpha - Klipriver

Plus MMW Flying in and squating with Microhead and Microheadson

Plus Demon and Rudix and possibly Nicow (and others) flying in on Sat for the morning or the day.

I have ice available for your Oros. There is a small shop on the estate where you can buy cooldrinks, beers etc. They have meat but its expensive - as are the beers.

I suggest you get your meat vacuum packed. It does not take up much space.

Those that drink beer and do not have space to carry them let me know what flavour you like and how many you want. My sister is going up next weekend so I will send them with her and have them waiting in the fridge and cold for your arrival. You can mail me on rwkeen@denny.co.za

No need for beers for me Thatch. 3 bottles of John Jameson should get me through the weekend and should fit nicely in my togbag with toothbrush, jock and cozzie and will vacuum pack the "agterkwart" of meat I am bringing to braai vhpy :shock:

Well, I am going light. Seeing that Thatch says that there will be ice for the Oros, I will bring a bottle of Oros. Now I can't decide: Naartjie or Orange... and 750ml or 5 Ltr...

Well the 750ml Oros is good for the first hour at least....

T minus 22 days and counting...

My Plan and details are as follows:

Friday 25 Nov: Take off Kliprivier at 6:00am
North West bound for Crosswinds ETA 7:00am
Meet up with Madman and the crowd and do some local flying
Friday 25 Nov pm: Take off crosswinds at 16:00pm northbound for aeroden
Land Aeroden at 16:30pm and meet up with Thatch, Airhog, Big D and Dish
Take off Aeroden at 16:45pm northbound in formation for Zebula ETA 18:00pm
Zebula 22:00 after braai and cold Oros...fall down.... (^^)

Any changes needed to this anyone??? (!!) (!!)

Ok so it is now T-21days and counting....

How many pilots flying to Zebula on the 25th are near the east rand??

Why I ask is for 1 reason, there is this awesome pub just off atlas rd called the " crew room" and I was thinking of arranging a pre flight briefing one evening before the flight.

Anyone keen for a cold one? (^^)
