And The Cat's Coming Too

Postby Uncle Spud Murphy » Tue Nov 11, 2008 11:41 pm

Greetings everyone and a big hello,

Vriendelike Groete

Apologies first and then a few insults if I may, just to get the mood right. Been very busy these last four weeks and although I have dropped in on the forum a few times, I have been unable to stir any mud up from the bottom by posting a topic that results in positive action from members - s067 s065 s062 s063

To be more precise, I have bloody well missed the forum and feel out of touch so I do. Even a few glasses of Martel (Disgusting liquid very similar to Klipdrift) has failed me, however. Must press on so I must.

I was going to write a story so I was, but then it occurred to me that few of you can read and write and I cannot draw pictures on a computer screen, therefore. I thought it best to wait so I did, until the sun goes down, the logs are burning, Klipdrift flowing and the aroma of burnt meat is in the air before I tell the stories I have to tell. Not all at once mind. They will take time to tell, but time now in South Africa is what we will have, so we will.

Not long now gentlemen (Ladies) before softness and I (And the Cat) start our new life in Phalaborwa and although I will not be naming names here because there are just to many of you, we will be seeing you all as the years roll by.

Alles van die beste (^^) (^^) (^^)
Do come to the house warming mfwetu's

Finally: Ek is jammer guys. I am knackered and cannot think of anything that may get you going for my throat.

It's not too late to change your mind Spud. Africa is lousy. Blue skies, meat on the fire, golden coloured throat ticklers, colourful flying buddies, awesome scenery.

Why would you want to leave England to come to all of this.

Jokes aside, welcome to South Africa when you arrive(Softness & katjie too) and hope to meet you guys soon.

Cheers, (^^)

Ah will be around that area this weekend. Visiting the farm in Tzaneen and popping past Phalaborwa for a visit to the amarula factory. Will take a few piccies for you uncle and post after the weekend(just to make sure you know how terrible it is around here). Good to see you bringing the cat with. Does it have to stay in quarantine for a while?.
Nuts about Cheetahs. Petit is the place.

Uncle Spud, good luck with the packing and safe travels to your new home here in South Africa.

I am sure that some-where along the line our paths will cross and we can enjoy some quality flying, tanned meat and golden throat ticklers together.
