Demon - my sincerest apology!

Postby DarkHelmet » Sat Oct 07, 2006 8:46 am

Frack! I just woke up with a skrik on the couch! I was nextdoor celebrating neighbour getting his license AT LAST.

I got so slaughtered that most of the evening is a blur.

Apologies for not making the trip to Heidelberg this morning demon.

I will spend the rest of the day in mourning...

Me too.

Spend all week looking forward to flying on Saturday only to wake up with “dem old bones being sore”.

Dunno – maybe some kind of flu. Guys flew Cato to Howick for breakfast, so DH, I too will spend the whole day mourning. :(

Demon - don't be too harsh on ol' DH.

Whats up with the weather service??? See Fairy Flycatchers post as well!

Went to bed with a mind of sleeping in because Heidelberg would not be on because of the Wx and also not feeling to well,
When I woke up it was clear as anything?? but by then too late to go anyway

Put this on your phone and don't believe the TV.

Weather - 082 233 9600

We phone at 21h00 before the day's flight and at sparrow fart before we leave the house in the morning. Helpful and accurate.

Give your take- off, destination height to be flown and just ask for clouds and wind.

Saturday morning, his response to Heidelberg wind was '68 knot'.

Poltely confirmed to' six to eight knots.'
