for what its worth, I moved to Discovery Insure, and found that if you drive nicely, you can get upto 50% of your petrol spend back, paid into your account, and if you dont take that option, they will pay it into an excess builder account, and match your refund, and after 3 years, you get your portion back.. Nice to have if you have an accident and need the excess..

On average getting between R800 and R900 paid into my excess account..

Multiple other benefits.. hit a pothole and Ctrack called me to find out if all was ok, as they had picked up an execssive GForce event..
Go onto the internet, and you can get vehicle trip reports, useful for claiming back, as you can dump it to CSV...
