Got a good hour and quarter flight in on Saturday morning. Joe and Dawid extended theirs to 4 hours. (^^) (!!) Was beautiful until the rain started again. Pity the competition had to be postponed.

The fridge is stocked again and ready for next weekends (15th March) 3rd Saturday fly & braai. (^^) (^^)

See you all there.

Enjoy the braai! (^^) Just missing out on this one as well. Nine weeks out really sucks :x :( Back in SA on 24 March, plenty of flying braaiing to catch up with :)

According to Monica, with all the rain the Cosmos flower season will be a stunner....As soon as I am home, I will evaluate, and organise a breakfast fly- in for the tailwinders....about time you all come and visit! (^^)

Hi Andries. 9 weeks is realy too long. Can't you get your boss to make it 6 weeks like it was ## ##

Last year the easter weekend was at the begining of April and the flowers, just south of Delmas, were stunning. Lets do something around that time ...weekend of the 29th March?

On the Friday or the Saturday of the Easter weekend (18th or 19th) we should do a marsh mellow easter egg drop over a needy area, like Etwatwa or Davytone. We did that last year and it was a great success. The kids went balistic and the pilots and pax enjoyed it as well.

Paul, I have a family commitment on 28 March, how does Sunday 29th or the next weekend sound?

Andries, on my calendar the 29th March 2014 is a Saturday. But Sunday the 30th would be good too. I am away from the 5th April until 13th.

Ek praat jou thaal...

Hi manne,

It looks like the weather might give us a nice gap on Saturday morning. I will be there but unfortunately will not be able to stay for the braai, Abby is swimming gala and I need to be there.

I am thinking of entering SOLO?
