Wart in Amsterdam - 02 to 10 April 2006

Postby Wart » Sun Apr 02, 2006 7:06 pm

Well I am off again on another epic adventure ! Well not quite; I am off to Amsterdam to take part in Intertraffic 2006 (a trade show for the Parking and Traffic industry). The show is on from the 4 to 7 April and I thought I would keep you all updated with my adventures as well as share with you some of the lovely lasses that I may come across.

I am now sitting at FADN looking at a Delayed 20:00 next to my flight number SA582 which was due to depart at 19h40. What a start to this trip. I hope it doesn't get any worse as I have my KL flight to get at 23h50 (departure) in JIA!!

Had a great flight this morning (before the SW came thru') over to Tala Valley and back. Buzzed the Game Farm as I had relatives staying there.

Watch this space for further news on the goings on in Amsterdam.

Well as you can see I am on-line again and exhausted after the flight, putting up the stand, going out for dinner and then back to the hotel at 00:00.

The weather is cool - 7 deg, cloudy and rain, so not too pleasant.

Today is the first day of the show and I will see if I can find some lovely lasses to take snaps of and post here for you poor people back in RSA. Plus side is that you can fly and I am stuck here having to slave away.

Speak to you all again tonight.

Two days down and two days to go!

This must be one of the busiest shows that I have attended and have had a overwhelming interest in our new product, IdentiPark.

We have a young lass on our stand as a hostess :-

Tonight we went through to Dam, and those who know will understand exactly where that is and what that means.
You guessed; the RED LIGHT DISTRICT of Amsterdam. For thos who haven't been there it is an eye opener.

Well it is 00:40 now and time for me to get some rest.

Sorry Smiley, this show is lacking in the female talent side! :(

Well last day of the show; we will dismantle the stand tonight and send it on its way back to SA.

This place has definitely put a strain on my sleep; I haven't got back to hotel before 00:00 once this week. On top of that is that we meet at 08:00 for brekfast and are at the show at 09:00 and then we are on our feet the whole day.

The wx has been great and would have been perfect if there was a trike nearby that I could have flown. Ah well, I guess I will just have to wait for Monday (wx dependent!!).
