Low Level flying injures horse

Johan Froneman received a complaint from a person in Jakobsbaai / Swartriet area. A horse was startled and injured by low flying aircraft. It was a Gyro and a small fixed wing aircraft. Both were yellow as far as the person could see. The incident occurred 12.00 on Saturday 1 April 06.

Guys, let's fly responsibily. I know it's great fun to fly low level but beware of animals who get easily startled. Ostriches in particular run like crazy and have been known to run into fences, injuring and killing themselves.

possibly at 500ftAMSL but definately at 0ft AGL unless of course this was a show jumping horse :lol:
