Robert Gassman talk on World Champs : Emoyeni 17 March etc

Postby alanmack » Fri Mar 03, 2006 5:45 pm

The date for the departure of the Galaxy draws near. Gauteng Gaggles depart at first light on Friday 17 March 2006 for Emoyeni. Gaggles start to return from the Monday. Some are staying for the week. Yes, bring the family or come alone.

A final Gauteng briefing will be held at ERMF/Microland at 17hoo on the 7th of March 2006.

The final K-ZN briefing will be on Friday evening at Emoyeni at 18hoo.

Following this briefing Robert Gassman will repeat his presentation (that he did at ERMF last night) on the World Microlight Champs and Competition Flying – Yes, at Emoyeni.

Every picture tells a story and boy does he have stories! Get a taste of a censored selection by clicking on the following link. He will reveal his own uncensored favourite at Emoyeni.

If you have a slow connection prepare for 5 minutes to download the thumbnails – 167 pictures have been loaded covering TRIKES AND 3 AXIS

Robert’s presentation last night – a straight-from-the-heart tell-it-like-was account was fantastic and it can easily be seen why Robert has the reputation for being such a fantastic ambassador of this country and our sport. All those that wish to attend at Emoyeni should telephone Brenda Eaton on 082 265 26018. After Robert’s presentation there is a Braai at Emoyeni. The cost of the braai is R45 per head. A cash bar will be available.

Saturday arrive at the Haven for another arrival braai at lunch time. Yes, a high protein start to prepare you for an overdose of cholesterol on Sunday night. Saturday night the first “film festival” evening will be held and on Sunday evening a gala dinner will be held with prizes for all > This event will be sponsored by those that attend at R100 per head for which you get two prizes, the dinner and movies for as long as you like.

Contact Donald Hicks at Donald.Hicks@za.nampak.com or Alan Mackenzie at alanmack@iafrica.com or if you are flying from Gauteng the Galaxy will be lead by Mervyn Reynolds 083 235 6402 (departing from Microland) or Robert Gassmann (departing from Springs). If you want to join an Eastern Cape Gaggle contact Larry McGillewie (046) 622 5065. You must start to book or make alternative arrangements with the organizing team.

Seaing is believing! Confirmations now stand at some 35 planes (Trikes and 3 Axis)!

Fly safe
