Belly pod.

Postby RV4ker (RIP) » Fri Feb 17, 2006 1:07 pm

Belly pod.
Why do more not fit these "boot's" like on Hazzard's to their trikes? What are Pro's & Con's. It seems to be perfect solution for those weekend away trips or even just to carry some extra gas? Could even convert to fuel tank?

Image
Note the boot
The boot is able to carry 30lt fuel can as well as all your travel gear. It is out the way, safe, with good ground clearance

Hi
Weve been doin this for years in Die Kaap, using canvas and some aluminium stays -
Works great and can carry a load of stuff, although few have carried fuel in them. Also keep stones off the prop.

We have them made here if anyone is keen

What belly pod are we talking about here- the one on the trike or the one on the person in the background?
