Hi Gents
I had a meeting at Zwartkop today with Lt Col Sheperd and he has kindly agreed to extend the submission of documents to Tuesday 21st Sept. To those guys who have not yet submitted their documents...PLease!!.. fax the docs to me ASAP. 65 pilots have confirmed thus far.

Please go to pg 8 of this forum to check whether your name is there and whether you are confirmed. Lt Col Sheperd has stressed that no pilot will be allowed to LAND IF HIS NAME IS NOT ON THE FINAL LIST. This will be checked from the list when transmission with ATC is made. ## ## ## ##

List updated as at 17th September

Just for every body that were asking to know: African Pilot WILL be there to cover the event. Myself is flying in with ZU-DLO. Athol might drive there and I am looking for a seat for Willie Bodenstein (Another AP Photographer for some air-to-air shots) from Babsfontein, Petit or Microland area. I am allready commited to a pax otherwise I could have pick him up.

For the other magazines (except for Microflight Africa) are not very fond of the "trikers" as you should know. (^^)

Hi Guys...

Just something to note. SAPFA is having a Fun Nav rally at Kitty Hawk that morning. People heading to FASK from the Pretoria (eastern) fields just need to keep a good lookout and make sure the radio comms are clear... Pinedene is going to be a busy bit of air that day..

Cheers,
Jaco

Morning Les,

I noticed on page 8 that you have my name twice, ie. One indicating that I have submitted my forms and once without. Please could you correct your list and remove my second name, the one indicating forms still outstanding.

Thanks

Page 8 in this forum has all the confirmed names xxx 66 confirmed

Les

I can still slip in some late documents as I have a meeting on Monday with ATC (Swartkop & Waterkloof) to finalize all the details for the day.

To anyone who's name is on page 8 and is NOT...! marked off as confirmed, PLEASE! fax your documents to me BEFORE SUNDAY 26th and I will include it into the submissions.

Hi Les,

I am sure this will be an awesome day...just for interest, do you by any chance know, out of the 66 how many are trikes? ! more question, regarding the ATC, will they only be on duty from 7:30? So If we fly in before then, we will approach as per unmanned fields?

Regards

Gary

59 trikes. Yes! most of us will land unmanned but I will confirm the arrangements on Tuesday after the meeting with ATC.
