Problem Solved

It appears there is a small check valve located in the banjo pipe. It has a small spring/ball etc . Poss a small piece of dirt ? has lodged. Replaced pipe ALL FIXED
Thanks to all I now know a little more about oil pumps.

Update on oil leak Inspected cables etc found all OK .The metering arm marks -"lined up" at O throttle . There however appeared to be slight movement available till it hit the stop . Adjusted.
