Re: Air Park for sale
Damn! This comes as a shock!   Its a great idea, but you'll have to demo the current hangar, and then build connected hangers like at Ingwe... that of course is if you want to fit the 20 hangars and the houses. The neighbours are no trouble, I get instruction there, but we avoi...

Re: Rhino Poaching Pilots, Vets and Game Ranchers
The worst thing on this earth is humans... :? This really upsets me, we also had an incident where a poacher's snare caught one of our most prized Arabian mares on one of the rear fetlocks, with the mare being missing for three days we set out to search for her and found her half dead snared to a tr...

We live on a farm near Otjiwarongo, the farm is Okaputa (FYKP), next time you decide to do a trip, stop, sleep, share stories etc. We had two microlighters touch down here...

some funny remarks made by airline personnel
~~ ON TAKE-OFFS: Occasionally, airline attendants make an effort to make the "in-flight safety lecture" a bit more entertaining. Here are some real examples that have been heard or reported: * "There may be 50 ways to leave your lover, but there are only 4 ways out of this airplane..." * "Your seat ...

Re: Who flies what and where?
Thanks guys, feeling welcome already! The farm is Okaputa, a relatively well known farm with an airstrip, approx 1 km of usable strip. Near Otjiwarongo to the north. Okaputa when translated from one of the native languages means a fork in a tree. Seems kind of dodgy to me. About the trike, I haven't...
