Yes Morph that is correct the radio in a plane doesn`t matter if it is a blikarie or a micro if it is fitted to a plane then u need to renew the licence each year. I hold 3 licences 1,Ham licence 2, dealer and last a pilot

nobody will operate a radio without a radio licence
Just go to your instractor and write the exam and pay your money and u are legal
