Hi Alan
I too, like klein and Blue Eagle, would like a recorded copy of the talk. Very happy to pay for it if there's any chance you can get a good recording done!

Re: FLYING4RHINO
Hi Frank I honestly believe that any and all support would be most welcome and appreciated. As Kloot says, be sure to channel it through the right organisations. Somewhere along the line though, the problem needs to be addressed from other aspects too eg. much harsher sentences for poachers. Why Chi...

Re: FLYING4RHINO
Hi Frank I too get equally pee'd off at all the rhino poaching  especially since Lalibela and Kariega (2 rhinos also poached earlier this year) game reserves are right on our doorstep! The problem however is far more complicated than it outwardly appears. These guys are quite brazen and very o...

Re: Mag check rpm drop -912 Extra
Hi JvT
Thanks a lot. I got a chance to get to the hangar and checked the plugs. They are the 100HP plugs (DCPR8E)
So back to square 1 again with no clue as to what to even check next!

Re: Mag check rpm drop -912 Extra
Hi JvT
Thanks. Have you ever used the 80HP plugs and if so, was your mag check normal?
Am just trying to establish whether I actually have an electrical problem or if I'm using the wrong plugs?

Mag check rpm drop -912 Extra
Hi Guys Please can you techno-whizz guys out there able to point me in the right direction? Calling on the boffins ie the likes of Duck or Morph if still around! I get an rpm drop of about 500rpm on one mag when doing a mag check at around 3000rpm and even more at higher rpm. I've had our AP check o...

Re: Pilot needed for Sardine Run?
I knew of a certain newly qualified instructor from Cato Ridge a few years back - very nice chap - went to fly the sardine run & sadly never came back!
I agree with both Jean & John

Re: WARP DRIVE HUB CRACKING
Hi Graham
Any progress with the manufacturer? Since your post I have also noticed a small hairline crack on the hub near one of the blade bases - something I definitely checked out!

Re: Status...expired.
In this regard, can someone clarify for whether an ICASA license is required for a removable handheld? I seem to recall some debate a while back on this and came away with the impression that this was only a requirement for panel mounted radios? :? Johan, Bundy, Willem, JB? Hi Sean Go to the...
