We had a great trip down to FAHG in pristine Highveld winter conditions on Saturday...

Rob Shaw, Roy and myself got airbourne from FABA and met up with Adrienne/Pieter (Rhino Park) in the air near the tower and routed south via the spruit that leads down to Nigel. Paul Meanwell joined our gaggle in his gyro from Brakpan and we timed our run well with Piet Meyer (FAWB) and the rest of the faster aeries from FABA, Fanie (Cheetah) and Stephan ( GT450) joining overhead Heidelberg at the same time.

Poor Paul missed his coffee due to a flat tyre but he was soon pumped up and airbourne with us again for the trip back.
Nice to see Hendrik loots drop by in his Sling as well!

FAHG is a great airfield to visit....could not believe it was so deserted in the perfect weather we had?
I hear though that the ATO there is being liquidated which is sad to hear...

Well...the Tailwinds added some colour to the apron at least!
