Looking for 2 stroke oil

Postby RV12 » Sun Sep 14, 2014 6:56 am

Looking for Castrol TC-W3 super outboard plus two stroke oil in the Jhb area. Went to 5 motor spares places on the East Rand yesterday with no luck.

I get mine from Autozone in Randburg, so maybe just have a look at the Autozone near you. They always have in stock.

Three East Rand Autozones and 2 Midas stores had none. Sone of these don't even stock it.

I saw some at the Midas in North Rand road the other day. They had 1 and 5 liter bottles. You can also try some boat places.

That is what was suggested for my 582 blue top engine.

503 is air cooled and runs at different temps than the 582 which is water cooled. I use Castrol super chainsaw for my 503 and super outboard plus for the 582.

I use Fuchs TCw3 super outboard , superior oil in 582, 618, 503 never had a problem, Super chainsaw is high ash , which chews cranksafts the moment the rings get gumed up , never again !, never needed new pistons or a rebore did 1623 hours training on a 582as an example - 0n the 300 hour decoke the pistons are wiped clean with a cloth , rings not stuck etc (^^) (^^)
