Yisse Sias that means we take off at 5.30

I have a plan why not just get one of the dollies from "FHM" to stand at the end of the runway. That will confuse the springs gang and we can fly and eat in tranquility 8)

On second thoughts i think that will confuse all of us and there will be lots of breakfast left over.

Don`t worry guys you will have more than enough time to enjoy breakfast as the Springs Manne van Staal will route via Loskopdam to Middelburg!!! Two and a half hours flying on a Saterday is not enough therefore the detour! BUT when we get there we are going to be hugry!!!!! :P :P :P

Wow were we so close...that low cloud made it impossible to land. we came so close and yet so far. We were 10 Microlights from Microland. 3nm then we turned around headed for Witbank. Sorry, but we will try again.

And if you can't go to the fly-in, the fly in will come to you. Middelburg's bad weather was a gain for us!
Nice meeting Peters, Clive Leyland and others on Saturday morning!

Jis we really tried. Me, MaK and Tinkerbell took off from Rhino in very nice conditions. vhpy When we were over Bronkhorstspruit, Rudix was already circling Witbank, and told us Middelburg was covered in very low cloud. He tried over the top, underneath, but nothing. From where we were, we thought, with our scenic route, an hour later it might have lifted so we carried on, on a very worthwile trip. 8)

Just passed Bronkhorstspruit.

MaK and Tinkerbell on route with MaK behind the sticks - cause Tinkerbell would be in control back to Rhino after the brekkie. ':-

With 10 miles to go - about 7 min, it looked like we're in for a nice breakfeast at Middelburg.

The Springs Manne van Staal got held up at Springs with loads of foginmist! We got airborne at approx 7:30! Some of the manne decided that it would be Rhino for breakfast but Myself, Big Man and Martin stuck our hand down our pants and decided "they" were big enough to route for Middelburg via Loskop! The most amazing flight in a long time! Down low in the valley following the Olifants to Loskop it was smooth and clear with no bumps at all! After about 10min of playing low level over Loskop we went for a nice Boerrie at Middelburg and stayed to see some of the airshow! :P :P :P

We were joined by two gyros on the way back to Springs and landed safely at approx 12:30!

Once again one hell of a weekend

Splinter did your formation fly over Witbank at about 11:30? Looked terribly bumpy for the trikes! :)
