By now everybody knows that I am visiting my daughter in Canada and that I will miss my connection with my aviation buddies seriously.
The only way to compensate is to keep yr guys up to date with my aviation related encounters here in the land of trees, snow and well organized peoples.

We were flying at a cruising groundspeed of 920 km/hr. at an Alt of 11,500 m via Amsterdam..21 hrs flying time in total….MAW. 351,500 kG
The flight from Amsterdam to Calgary airport took 8 hrs plus and was in daylight.
First impression about Canada:
It is a very, very large country and mutch biggar than South –Africa with large wilderness areas.
As n ou gewoond is aan die Oos Rand met Bronkhorstspriut dam as jou enigste verwyssings raamwerk dan moet ek erken dit was n skok toe ek al die mere en waters vanaf 35000vt onder my aanskou het..Plekke waar geen mense voet nog ooit was nie.!!!
Praat van ‘organized peoples’ AL my bagasie is missing..Ek meen ALLES..
Ek dink OTambo se mense het n vinger in die paai, want n foutiewe luggage kaartjie is aan my uitgereik.
