Margate Fly-inn 06-09 May 2010

There is a Fly-inn planned from the 6th of May till the 09th.

This was originally planned as a Cubby Fly-inn, however there has been so much interest from others flying everything from Citabria's, Gyro's, Bantams, etc that have asked if they could join.
Its now open to all with the Margate Light Plane Club getting involved and those wonderful fellows from the Port Edward Microlight club too.

So, if you are not doing anything over that weekend, pack your bags and fly-on into Margate.
Lots of information is on AVCOM under the Cubby section under Aircraft Type Discussions.
Plan is as follows:
06 May: arrival from all over the country and logistics covered
07 May: flying around activities
08 May: flying around activities
09 May: depart at leisure

Flying options are coastal trips down to Port St Johns, inland trips to Oribi Gorge, Harding, Kokstad and Port Edward Microlight Club, fun activities of spot landings etc.

Accommodation is self arranged at many B&B's and lots have opted to camp under their wings on the airfield.
This is a fun fly-inn for anyone wanting to fly on the coast at their leisure.

Just less than a month to go to the Margate fly-in,
anyone wanting to join from around the KZN area,
you are very welcome, whatever you may fly.
We will have a bit of everything on the ground and in the sky.

We are 4 trikes that fly-in from Kroon Airfield on the 23rd of April but unfortunately, we are leaving again on the 2nd of May, so we are going to miss your Fly-in. Maybe we can meet in that week. Always nice to chat to other Pilot buddies.

We were there last year the same time.
