Hi, Nicow, I will answer that one.. vhpy Myself and Kallie from Microland joined the Mexicano man for three fantastic days.
From Elands Quad Camp and Microlights we flew to Tweefontein in the Steelpoort Valey. We landed on a neglegted runway on a cloudy and windy Friday morning..With the encouragement of my flying buddies we took of from there to Hippo pools well knowing that the cloudbase has not lifted from the mountains..
We flew through the mountains, not over it, and landed 12 noon at hippo..From there we went to Numbi and next day along the border of the gamepark to Pyramied where Bryan ( hope I got his name right.) entertained us on some interresting fly-ing stories..!! (A Great place to vissit and thanks Bryan for the special rates.)
Monday Morning Me and Callie came back via Arnot, but not after suffering some 'not to good wether' which forced us to do an outlanding on a stretch of gravel road..
At Pyramied we met a Zimbabwean game farmer who lost his farm and ALL the game he had on the farm..The Milatary in Zim took it from him 3 yrs ago without a sent compensation. Asked if he would want the farm back he said 'no' cause every single piece of game is gone , first by rifle and there-after by snairs. Rhino, Buffalo ect ,ect.
The other interresting story we heard was the extend of unlawfull gold digging and smugling of gold over our border..!!
The Mexicano man left in not so good weather today on the next leg of his adventure..He is a bigtime photographer and lets hope he will post some pics.
I will try the same and lets hope it works this time.!!!!

I am confused. Are El Mexicano and Caneco one and the same person?

Other than that an awesome trip.

No Andy,

El Mexicano is El Mexicano, and Caneco is Caneco. I can't believe you didn't know that. xxx xxx

Propably good friends. My guess.

Nice thread. Also waiting for some pics and stories from the man himself.
