Assuming you flew at a steady 60 mph that's 50 hours flying time😁.... 2 x25hr rotax services required for the trip😎

Hell Yeah :!: :!: :!: ## That is why Mervfasa said your aerie should have have been serviced before we leave and be good for the next 100 hours...I plan on taking along a spare set of plugs and a fuel filter...I always have tools in the pannier to do a service and small repairs, including the plug spanner and feeler gauge ##

Going to be EPEEEEC (!!)

Hi, if anyone is serious about this let's start to look deeper, first of all the dates 8 to 20 surly not ? 8 May is a Tuesday ?
Saturday 5th May 2018 is a Saturday 20th May Sunday this would give you theoretically 16 Days of flying requiring 2 weeks leave . The 2 of us did this trip a few years ago GT450 AND TANARG 8 days minimum 8.2 hrs flying per day. Earlier Joe and the guys did it with 503s some 2 up in 21 days . The main reason it was possible, and fun, was, that we had NO ground crew . Much more flexibility . Opinion?

Do you perhaps have any pics from your trip :?:

When you say you had no ground crew, was it for the GT and the Tanarg or the 503's :?:

I guess the weekend and the Monday (7th May) is for final prep vhpy

If you have done many cross country's and looking for something for your own bucket list, this is it...If you are a newbie and want to join, Merv is an awesome instructor and I have seen him in action...he is seeeriaaassssly AWESOME (!!)

I love flying and camping, so this is gonna be a great joll, the wx and the everything else we can't control, we will just deal with when we fly over that bridge

The marathon was a resounding success. An absolute adventure of a lifetime. Incredible flying, incredible camaraderie, and just an amazing experience. We hit the weather pattern spot on over those 2 weeks, and managed to fulfill this lifetime dream within the 2 week period.
I Get goose bumps thinking about what we achieved. Even more amazing was the wonderful hospitality from people we met along the way, just opening up their hangers, clubhouses etc for us to use at will. Thank you very much to those wonderful souls.
Longing to do it all over again............... (^^) (^^)
