Postby Graham Mac » Thu Apr 25, 2013 7:04 am

Join Panorama Airfield, circus airfield for a fly inn to Klipriver airfield on Friday afternoon 10th May. Overnight at Klipriver depart Saturday morning 11th May.

If weather is not favorable then automatically shift to fly inn Saturday afternoon 11th May returning Sunday morning 12th May.

Panorama trikes will be wheels up from Panorama at 16h00 Friday afternoon, fixed wing aircraft are welcome. Freddy will have a generator available and fire wood with braai facilities.

This will be a bring and braai so each person to arrange own meat, drinks, charcoal, ice and sleeping bag etc.

This is to build a bit of triking spirit and for us to meet our neighbors and share good times,
Contact Theo on ohh eight 2 895 895six for more info if needed.
We will have ground crew going in so any assistance with carry in for anyone is welcome.

Hi Graham,

Great idea, however the timing is a concern. The weekend in question is the Swartkops air show and fly in. This is a huge event for microlighters on the calendar and I do think the turnout for the camp will be minimal.

Suggestion:- can we not make a different date?

I hangar at Klip and would love the opportunity to enjoy the company of our neighboring airfields.

Cool Alpha
will chat to Theo and Freddie and we will change the date.
Seeing as the objective is to meet the "Manna".....no point if all are at Swartkops Fly Inn
CHANGE OF DATE TO BE ADVISED.....THE longer we wait The COLDER its gonna get...Will have to organise PLENTY WOOD for The allnight Bonfire then.

the date of the fly in to remain the same.
whoever can make it is welcome.

Due to prediction of unsavoury weather
and not wanting to be BLOWN AWAY.
KLIP OVERNIGHT POSTPONED TILL FURTHER DATE...Yet to be determined...

Howzit BTB
I can only concur that Summer is a much more amenable time for a sleepover, especially in a freaking tent.... no matter how big the bonfire... (-)
