Fly-in from Springs to Rand Airport for Breakfast at the Harvard, take-off from Springs 07:30 sharp anyone welcome.
Flight from Springs routing over Klipriver, Panorama and then Rand Airport. Arrangements made with Flight Controller, they are looking forward to meeting the light aircraft pilots more regularly.
We will be having breakfast at the Harvard at Rand Airport (Buffet breakfast on Saturdays at R.60,00 per head) where-after we will return to Springs.
Pilots from Microland, Petit and Heidelberg need to be in Springs by 07:30 sharp, else meet in Rand Airport, please remain clear of the buffer zone.
Landing fees apply; Aircraft weight up to 500kg - R. 69,00; 501kg to 1000 kg - R.86,00; 1001kg to 1500kg - R.101,00.
Only 100 octane unleaded fuel is available at the airport.

Yes of course, I have had breakfast at Rhino myself. Please just confirm approximate numbers as I have to give the info to the Air Marshall. All other arrangements are in place, they are looking forward to seeing us.

Yes this is the same day as circus fly in. Think I will go to circus as you can go to Rand anytime and its good to support your local guys efforts.

Sounds good, was going to go there Saturday morning anyway to pick up something at Comet!!
Should we go to Springs first or head straight for Rand?

No problem flying in directly. Approach from Romeo Delta (can't teach you guys that, I am the rookie). I have arranged with the tower.
No need to join overhead first, tower will advise circuit and active runway, we will join the circuit directly.

Same, but the difference is that there are no landing fees at Circus and the "beorie" roll is on the house

Rand fly-in still on. Big Man suggests we fly from Springs at 07:00 for Circus and then still do the breakie at Rand. Keeping all happy. Those who cannot afford the landing fees may return home.
