Give me a buzz if you guys are coming, I will leave the hanger open, got a hot shower in there. Will have a braai and some (^^) and some (^^) o and did I mention braai (^^) . Looks like a bit of drizzle or fog in the morning on Sat over the escarpment but will clear and be sunny from about 10h00 they say. Komati is always sunny, so if you can get over that then it is normally clear on this side. My number 082 six zero 1 8970

Hi Stefan!

Great, thanks, just had a chat to the team, we will be 3 planes ( 2 x Shadow + 1 x Bushbaby), 3 people. Weather permitting we would like to fly to Komati in the morning (Friday). If it is ok with you we would love to sleep over Friday night, after that we will see depending on the weather.

Will give you a call in the morning once we have an ETA, looking forward to bringing the Baby "home". Talking about Bushbabies, just saw Monty, he says "Hi!"

Thanks again for the offer (^^)
Fly safe,
Rudi

Thank you so much for the royal treatment and help you gave us Stefan! We had such a great time! It was also nice to finally see your factory, I was really impressed with your operation! Guys, you must see the welding on the airframes, stunning!!

Thanks again, will post photos soon. The rest of the trip was great as well, had a 30mph headwind flying home today but it was still fun vhpy

Kind Regards,
Rudi

What a brilliant weekend!!! - Very hospitable Stefan and Family Thanks again for everything (^^) (^^) , really enjoyed the flip in your explorer 8) - the only problem now is that I must get my hands on one even if the Streak needs to go. and Yes we get very thirsty when its that hot (^^)
Also many thanks Brian for driving us into town etc.– beautiful place you have there.

Well done Wolter you could not have pulled that forced landing off any better – 40mph winds -mountain rotor and all, thank goodness for the streaks brilliant glide ratio. First picture (map with my gps track) shows the area where you went down - really glad you came out ok
