Thanks Andrew, I've sent Willem (nacho) an email, hopefully he's got good news for me.

I do Composite work so fibreglass or carbon fibre and make moulds. If there's a mould out there I can always make new fairings or an old fairing that needs to be repaired. I could also use that to make a mould. If anyone is I interested my number is 082 675 6188

Kind regards

Good news Guys.
I'm working on the mould for the aquilla fairing. Cost will be around 4k per part.

Hi Gerrit,
Ek stel belang in 'n Aquilla fairing, wanneer sal die eenhede beskikbaar wees op die mark? Sal alle "mounting hardware" en windskerm ingesluit wees?

I hope Gerrit gets one of these fairings onto the market. I have one from Solo Wings on my Aquila and it is really great. There are a few pilots that I know of that are interested. Some have even made molds of mine, but I have never seen one made. Put it this way, the fairing is far more useful than winglets or a spinner and finishes the trike off nicely. I can't really say there is any change in the performance or characteristics of the trike. Maybe a mile or two per hour faster?

The only thing I hate about the fairing is that you need to pick up the trike to get it out the hangar..was really fun watching the Witbank boyz move their trikes as all of them had to pick it up at the nose since you can not reach the nose wheel with the fairing on
