Jabi 2200 Engine – Offers?

Postby MMW » Thu Nov 19, 2015 11:00 am

I am selling on behalf of the owner.

This motor is from a Bantam that was involved in an accident.

Serial Number 22A1496
Hours since New 642

Visible damage (as far as I can see!) – Cracked Distributor Cap, Oil Filter Adaptor broken off some with damage to threads on the block, Exhaust and muffler dented and bent.

Caption from the CAA Accident report.
1.16 Tests and research
1.16.1 The engine was taken to an approved AMO for a test and/or strip, which was
carried out by a licensed aircraft maintenance engineer (AME). The engine was
found to turn freely. It was restarted and functioned normally. In addition, no
damage was discovered that could have led to an in-flight stoppage.

3.1.4 The engine was operating normally and there was sufficient fuel on board the
aircraft at the time of the accident.
