I hope that the harsh African winter did not prevent the use of aviation equipment?

We decided to expand the production of wooden propellers and reduce the waiting time for an individual order to 2-3 weeks.

Vladimir, tell me honestly, how does your wooden 2 blade prop compare to the 3 blade ground adjust for take off and cruise performance on a R0tax 912 ULS. Lets say it is in a Rans S7 type aircraft, similar to the Savage Classic ?

Hello, Jean! Compared to which 3-blade propeller? Our three-bladed saber-shaped engine outperforms most other propellers in terms of performance and low noise. But recently it was discovered that the flight characteristics of the 2-blade versions are superior to the 3-blade ones in almost all flight modes. But they are somewhat inferior in noise. Therefore, German pilots continue to purchase 3-blade versions from us, and South African pilots prefer two-blade ones. The most prudent buy 3-blade propellers and buy additional 2-blade hubs. In this case, they use two versions of the propeller. As for the wooden propeller, there is a continuous struggle for perfection. We do not make mass-produced wooden propellers. Each propeller is made by special order. And each propeller is more perfect than the previous one. New profiles are used, the twist, narrowing, angles, and shapes are changed. It is possible to change the geometry after each released propeller. There is a continuous accumulation of experience. The only drawback is that it is impossible to take into account the real state of a particular motor, it is impossible to flexibly adjust to it. That is, you can design and build the perfect propeller for the perfect Rotax-912 today. But during the adjustment, your motor may wear out, and its characteristics will change. And yet-the propeller will no longer be ideal for him. the queue for wooden propellers is much longer than the queue for plastic propellers. Now we have opened a separate production of decorative wooden propellers.

I am now sending to France these blades for a home windmill. The diameter is about 2 m (79"). Very light - about 700 g (1.54 lb). Easy to install on a flat flange. Maybe someone else needs it?
