It was agreed at the AGM that the fees for 2012 MISASA membership will be R330 and Aeroclub fees will be R300. Please note that membership fees run from January to December. RAASA will also not issue ATF's without membership.
In the past members either paid the Aeroclub or MISASA or both and this system caused many problems due to administrative headaches posed by trying to reconcile who paid who. Aeroclub have launched a system whereby all members of all sections of the Aeroclub will pay their Aeroclub and section fees on one secure website. The gateway will then allow MISASA to receive payment automatically from the system. This will streamline the process of issuing membership cards and getting proper up to date addresses and contact numbers.
Please assist us and embrace the system which should go live in the second week of December. I will post the web address here as soon as we have confirmation that its up and running 100%.

We wanted to make it R600 but aaaag, decided against that ...... donner ouens, ek maak net 'n grappie!
Thank you for the positive reception of the fees. I was on the phone to the chaps that manage the Fundi system. I had a couple of issues when updating my details.
Riaan has promised me that they will give friendlier prompts to finalise the system. It is the TESTING phase still so.... I will let all know when it goes IGOR (It's ALIVE MASTER

)
Watch this space gents!

Now, that was EASY !
Received the new system via email from Aeroclub at 17h00 today. Took me 2 minutes to update and pay my renewals for 2012 ! Done and dusted.
Nou's die bal in die anderkant se hande.
Thanks all for the new user friendly system.

Why can't we do our flying renewal, AP and medicals in the same way ?

In The "old misasa days"
membership came with wings n things..cap stickers etc.
It would be nice to see that reintroduced.
my 2 cents
USE IT LOOSE IT.

That still happens....
Nemo will tell you more about that though. Budgets still have to be discussed and approved.
From the minutes of the AGM...
• The proposal to issue the badge and a cap with the badge thereon with the 1st magazine issued in 2012 was taken by the meeting with the proviso that the General Committee approve the expenditure necessitated by this decision as a part of the publications budget to be presented to the next meeting of the General Committee.
