Magaliesberg Weather Guide for the Weekend of Sat 7 – Sun 8 September, 2013
Disclaimer: This weather guide is precisely that, a 'guide'! Use it, but question it, and always do your own research before flying! Remember that it remains the PIC's responsibility to conduct an independent check of the weather at the point of departure and destination as well as en route before taking off, by using official weather sites and official published weather reports!
Note: This weather guide is for Aeroden (25°43'30.17"S 27°44'23.90"E), a lodge and airstrip on the northern side of the northern Magaliesberg ridge, 6 miles west of the Hartebeespoort Dam wall - so PLEASE check the relevance to the area in which YOU plan to fly!

Comment: All clear . . . lovely spring weather! The weather seen south of the country does not look as if it will affect the interior in any way.

Comment: Again, the synoptic chart is looking good over the interior, with a weather system well south of the country only.

Your weather report for today is Overcast and deplorably miserable with a slight chance of improving to F#@$ing Cr@p later on....
Many thanks for you dedicated efforts John...I read your weather forecasts religiously every week as do many others.
Think I'll just leave DBP parked this weekend.... A Rum and coke seems like a much better idea!

It is my hope that at some stage over the life of these weather guide postings that a pilot may have been spared an incident by reading them!
I am looking forward to finally meeting you on the 5th October!
