APPLICATION FOR LEARNER PL

Postby Leonvz » Thu Nov 17, 2011 9:44 am

Hallo to all you wellread and -learned men,
Can anybody out there give me advice as to whom I can contact at CAA to find out what the stance of my application for a possible learner pilot license is as I have done the medical examination on September 13th 2011.
This was forwarded to CAA on September 16th 2011 for final decision.
I do not know whom to contact as the docter also does not get any feedback.
Any advice is wellcome.
thanks,
Leon

I would phone RAASA for a personalised opinion and correct contacts.

Whats the reason for doc not giving you an inmediate answer? He should advise you inmediatly of any possible abnormalities. You are his customer.

Hi Leon,
You get a white and yellow copy of your medical. The white copy is yours and must stay on file at the flight school untill you receive your license. The yellow copy gets sent with your application form (On RAASA website www.raasa.co.za). You can not fill this form in and send it on your own, your training instructor must sign on the form.

Hi Leon.

If you applied for a Part 61 Student license you have to contact CAA.

If you applied for a Part 62 Learners license you need to contact RAASA.

If it is the latter, please phone:

011-082-1000

or mail:

willem@raasa.co.za
