Hi

Just one question. This is a production built aircraft so according to CAA the 10 year calender time of the engine needs to be complied with. Does this mean this engine will be due for an overhaul? Or is this a 12 year engine?

IIRC, It seems for the "weekend warrior" this does not apply. Will try to find the thread for reference.

Hi,

I am just trying to clarify this, because there seems to be a lot of confusion. AFIAK, if it is a production built aircraft or if an NTCA is used for a flightschool, then you have to comply with requirement. Obviously this will influence selling price, as a rebuilt will cost in excess of R200k.

It has been discussed in this thread - http://avcom.co.za/phpBB3/viewtopic.php ... ilit=rotax

Hi gents - the TBO is 1200h or 12 years.

She's priced well below market value in my opinion & in tip-top shape.

Best.
