582 Raptor with Topless Wing: Now reduced

As a result of medical issues that fortunately the Doc's all agree are resolved I have not had a medical for a couple of years. ZU-CRP has been mothballed by AEROSSA but the decision has been made to test the market for an offer. Acceptance of an offer for the trike will secure a sale that will include servicing, new battery and whatever else is needed for an ATF. It is a blue top 582 with about 250 hrs and I had the 300 hrs major overhaul done early, just prior to stopping to fly, in anticipation of a long flying holiday, that did not happen. Thus the engine has only a couple of hours on it. Icom radio, Stratomaster, AirMagic helmets with integrated headsets, large "beach" tyres, leather "ex jag factory" upholstery, topless wing, wooden prop, long range fuel tank, under carriage upgrade for "bumble bees!"

Mervyn Reynolds ( Microland Instructor) currently suggested that a market value of R120,000 would secure a sale. Time will tell I'm negotiable and open to offers. First reasonable offer will get a bargain and an awesome combination that offers executive comforts in the ride! Certainly it is a trike like no other.

It is in storage at AEROSSA in PETIT, Johannesburg and is available for inspection. It has an awesome custom NEMO weather proof cover but that will have to be collected at the WildCoast - includes free holiday accommodation to do so!

I have been asked three times now what offer would be accepted? A raptor without a topless wing and with 300 hrs was sold last week for R120,000. That means that Mervyn's valuation was in the ballpark however value is what you get - cash is what you pay - what will you pay?

Had a couple of calls looking for a Xmas bargain - try an offer around R97,000 - that's R23,000 off the suggested great deal price. I need a few days to have the trike commissioned if you want to view it as it is mothballed per Rotax spec's.
