Yikes, sorry guys. R180 000. This was one of the original Jabirus, and certainly one of the first built in a kit form.

Re: Bargain Jabiru 200 SP - Urgent Sale!
Hey everybody...I am having a great response here, but I find I am repeating myself with e-mails!
So here is a comprehensive reply to Nico that I thought I might share for those needing additional Info:
This a/c did have an engine out, was fully rebuilt by an AMO, it was to be flown to George (see CAA report), but before the flight could be undertaken, it was put in storage due to our airfield (Cato Ridge) being sold!
Engine type and model Jabiru 2200 80HP
Work required to get COA. New Battery, Rear left window replaced, brakes checked, carb checked, Transponder antenna replaced, inspection flight to Shadowlite (to be paid by Shadowlite according to CAA directive)
Hrs on engine. A little over 230 Hrs
Who did and when was the last service done. 210 Hrs - Owner
Instruments installed and condition. Usual quad + engine oil press, batt voltage, transponder, Icom Radio - ALL EXCELLENT
Brakes and tyre condition. Tyres have life, but recommend replacement due to standing, brakes need cleanup - surface rust
was this kit build? Yes
By whom? Myself & my Father, with full support AT THAT TIME from Les Alford - Shadowlite
When and who did the inspections. Last done @ 210 hours - will have to find that info...
Structure condition? 100%
Is it possible to get some pics of the wings etc. See attached - they are wrapped for transport
Lastly, location of this plane. Hillcrest, KZN
General info, why are you not flying anymore?
3 growing kids (7, 11 & 13!), Cato Ridge Airfield was closed down, no affordable, nearby hangarage space.
Our licenses lapsed. Have other interests as well (sportscars). Hard decision to make, but I would rather someone else be able to enjoy this beauty of a plane rather than her sit and eventually go to ruin.
This is an open sale - any and all questions will be happily answered to the best of our knowledge.

Re: Jabiru 200 SP - Urgent Sale! Bargain R180K
Hi David
Yes on the forum - LOVE Harley's, but cannot do a swap, the funds are earmarked for something else when the Jabbie is sold.
Yes, LOTS of other "tyre-kickers" but three serious offers at this time; they are all in the process of coming to see the Jab, some with their experts...one is bringing a trailer!
Your questions are most welcome, no problem - let me know if I can help you with any further information you may need.
Longest continual flight to date was Cato Ridge to Grand Central...up took 3 hours 5 minutes, back down took 3 hours exactly! Jhb ATC were excellent and accommodating; the guys at that time scratched their heads when hearing the name, type designation (Z164), especially when the saw the SPEED of this "microlight"! Priceless!!
Regards
Sean
