The panel shown is not legal for night rated VFR operations. AH, DI and Turn and slip or similar instruments are lacking.

VFR applies to day and night operations and therefore you don't need any IF instrumentation. If you need to rely on an AH,DI and turn coordinator without visual outside reference you are in IFR conditions, day or night and will propably die shortly if not IF rated and very competent, especially in an LSA. The most important instrument in any aircraft is the one between the pilot's ears.
ZU-EGY is rated for day/night VFR operations with the current equipment list, granted the pilot has a PPL with night rating.
