hi Guys
Dave was and still is my instructor
he has taught me how to fly a trike not only how to take off and land but when the going gets rough how to handle it and enjoy it.
I recall a time when I came back to the field from 2 hr flight and the wind had got up quite a lot ,I had landed into wind and had made a good landing.
Dave came over and seed now do it on a cross runway ,I thought he was mad but he explained that not all airports have cross runways and I had to practice .We did a few times together than by my self.
Dave has taught me about wind in my face or the lack of it and then what will happen, wind shear and down drafts.
How to read a map, weather and terrain.
I now have over 1500 hrs and am still learning from Dave if he talks I shut up and lessen

I have flown out of Groutville with Dave Daniels for years i have been 3 so called "extreme turbulence/ near death experiences' and if it was not for my training in these conditions i probably would not be here today. I think 'Fair weather' pilots are missing out, Flying is amazing and being able to fly in challenging condition makes it all the more fun and builds huge confidence.
As we all know , weather changes in an instant and having the confidence to fly through turbulence and make landings in crosswinds will not only make you a better pilot but keep you alive,
i would definitely recommend and ADVANCED flying training .
Mirco-lights are amazing machine and can stand up most wind conditions ....with the right training they will go anywhere

thanks
