Re: XAIR for Sale
ok boys and girls....never to be repeated. if this one doesnt go then i am gonna have to start chewing the prop covers and therafter possibly give her away to a flying school where she will fullfill the dreams of many young pilots who have aspirations to one day fly an Airbus A380 or a spaceshuttle to the nearest planet with the hope of visiting ET or hopefully JZ....
The airy has now got 220 h on the engine and the battery is running flat.
R125000.00

Re: XAIR for Sale
Agree, they well manufactured, very sturdy and stable in the air and on landing.
lots of space, you don't feel crammed. I got this airy from 2011 done 150 hours which is about 2 hrs per month average.
Battery was changed to a bigger amp hour capacity 12v (300amps cold crank) for easy start ups in the mornings. this airy got mechanical lifters so there is no reliability issues. last compression test done few hours ago and its well within 89-90Psi limit on all cylinders.
This airy is not fast. Her cruise is 65-70mph and she burns 15lt per h of 95 unleaded. fully trimmed forward at 3000rpm she will get 85-90mph should you ever be a little in a hurry...but then again why would you want to be in a hurry ?
if you in a market for a cheap runner thats reliable this is the plane.....but for me its time to move on
